Film, Photography, and Video Requests
Mississippi College is a private university. Mississippi College’s permission is required for any filming or photography by professional, commercial or news photographers or filmmakers or by other campus visitors taking pictures or filming for commercial purposes on Mississippi College’s property.
Wedding Photography
Except for photography in connection with weddings at Provine Chapel, all wedding parties and/or photographers of wedding parties must request permission to take photographs in writing at least 14 business days in advance.
News-Related Photography
Mississippi College will consider requests for journalistic, news-related, non-commercial shooting but reserves the right to deny permission for any reason.
Sports Event Photography
Requests to film or photograph sports events on Mississippi College’s campus should be directed to Mississippi College's Sports Information Director. For further information, please visit the Sports Information site or contact bweir@mc.edu.
Requests for Permission to Film or take Photographs other than at Sporting Events
Requests to film or photograph news-related projects should be directed to the Office of Marketing and Communications, 601.925.7760, pr@mc.edu.
Non-news-related requests should be made in writing at least 14 business days in advance by emailing event-services@mc.edu.
