Webb Collums
Born and raised in Jackson, MS, Webb graduated from Mississippi College in 1995 and is married to Holly Gilmer. Webb and Holly, along with their two children, Hannah (12) and Emma (9), are members of Bellwether Church in Jackson.
Webb started fishing at a young age, beginning a competitive career in 2003. He got his start with the Fishers of Men trail and then the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League (BFL). He then progressed to the FLW Everstart Series in 2009 and 2012. Webb has fished 6 BFL regionals and the 2012 Everstart Championship. He fishes several local team circuits and charity tournaments and won Anglers of the Year in 2011 Media Bass circuit.
In the summer of 2011 Web came to Mississippi College to coach bass fishing. He enjoys having the opportunity to teach young men and women about the sport, helping them become prolific anglers. His goal is to educate anglers to make the catch with proper baits and presentations in any lake in the country at any time of year or any cycle that fish are in.
He would like to thank our sponsors Duncan Marine and Ranger Boats for their support of the Mississippi College Fishing program and Providence Hill Farm for a first class facility that allows the anglers to practice and hone the skills needed to compete in the National Guard FLW College Fishing series.
