Assistant Professor - Department of Counseling
Mississippi College invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor, Department of Counseling. This is a full-time, tenure-track faculty position covering the areas of Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, and School Counseling programs. The successful candidate must possess a doctoral degree in counselor education and supervision, preferably from a CACREP program or a related doctoral degree completed prior to 2013 with at least one year of full time teaching experience.
Founded in 1826, Mississippi College is a private, comprehensive, Christian university affiliated with the Mississippi Baptist Convention. Mississippi College seeks faculty and staff who are committed Christians and whose Christian principles are exemplified in daily are living. MC offers over 80 undergraduate majors, over 50 graduate programs, and has an enrollment of approximately 5,000 students. The campus is located in Clinton, MS which is about 10 miles west of the capital city of Jackson.
