Based on the Orton-Gillingham approach, which combines auditory, visual and kinesthetic learning modalities, the outcome of this course is designed to be a Master of Education degree in Dyslexia Therapy and a rewarding career as a therapist. This program is accredited at both the Therapy and Instructor of Therapy levels by the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council (IMSLEC) and is an International Dyslexia Association (IDA) accredited program.

This program prepares graduates to hold an AA teaching license with a 203 K-12 Dyslexia Therapy endorsement. In order to be admitted to the program, students should hold an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university and an A teacher's license (which the AA license will supplement) or have evidence of experience in teaching or working with children or adolescents.
