Tailgating with the Choctaws
Come celebrate football game day with friends, family, and food. Plan to arrive in time for the Choctaw Walk featuring our athletes, band, cheer squad and dance teams 2.5 hours before kickoff. Hang out after the Choctaw Walk, making memories with families, alumni, faculty, staff, and students right up until game time. 2024 Tailgate Schedule
- September 14 — MC v. Kingsville — Kickoff at 6:00 PM
- September 21 (Family Weekend) — MC v. North Greenville — Kickoff at 6:00 PM
- October 12 (Preview Day) — MC v. West Alabama — Kickoff at 2:00 PM
- October 26 (Homecoming) — MC v. Erskine College — Kickoff at 4:00 PM
- November 9 — MC v. Northeastern State — Kickoff at 12:00 PM
- November 16 — MC v. Delta State — Kickoff at 12:00 PM
Tailgate setup begins on Saturday game days at 8:30 a.m. Bring your tent, decorations, food, and chairs and help us celebrate our Choctaws!
Tailgate Setup Guidelines
Tailgate spots are not assigned but registration ensures you will be able to claim a table from the stacks for use under the tent you bring. If you prefer to keep it simple, bring a chair and a snack to share and sit under the Family Engagement tent or join any number of the tents on the quad. MMI Dining will be selling meals.
